In every year since 1918, NJM has paid dividends to auto insurance policyholders. Once dividends are factored in, NJM's average yearly premium per car is nearly one-third less than the State average, a savings of more than $300 per year.

Over the past 19 years, NJM has ranked among the best among of all major auto insurers in complaints investigated by State regulators. In 2005, only six valid consumer complaints were lodged against NJM Insurance Group out of 800,000 cars covered that year.
