New Jersey’s private-sector employers added 700 jobs in June, which when added to May’s upwardly revised gain of 5,800 in May, brings the total net gain for the year to 7,000, NJBIA President Philip Kirschner said today, commenting on the State’s monthly employment report.
“We are moving in the right direction,” Kirschner said. “The addition of 1,200 jobs in June is modest, but now we’ve added jobs in the private sector for two months in a row. That’s the first time we’ve enjoyed back-to-back monthly gains in six months.” |
