Governor Jon Corzine will deliver the keynote address to hundreds of business leaders at the Employer Legislative Committee (ELC) State Dinner on Wednesday, June 20, at the Hyatt Regency, Route 1, Princeton. US Attorney Christopher Christie will receive the first ever ELC Distinguished Service Award as the only government official to attend every county ELC meeting at least once. He will also address the crowd.
Members of the news media are invited. Reporters planning to attend should contact at 609-393-7707, ext. 245.
Approximately 400 of the State’s leading business people are expected to attend the ELC dinner. The event will get underway at 6:00 p.m., with the program itself beginning at about 7:30 p.m. Photographers will have access to the banquet hall floor. A platform with a mult-box will be stationed at one end of the room.
The State Dinner is hosted by the 18 regional ELCs, established in 1959 as an affiliate of the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA). The ELCs are regional grassroots committees made up of business people who meet monthly with legislators and other government leaders to discuss important business issues in the Legislature.
The 2007 ELC Dinner is sponsored by Bank of America. Ann Limberg, president of Bank of America New Jersey, is the dinner chair. |
