PUBLIC POLICY PRINCIPLES & PRIORITIES 2008-2009
The Public Policy Principles & Priorities is NJBIA’s blueprint for building a strong private-sector economy in New Jersey by creating jobs, strengthening the business climate, and improving our economic competitiveness.   It details the broad principles on which our public policy positions are based.

AGENDA FOR ECONOMIC GROWTH
The Agenda for Economic Growth details the specific legislative and regulatory initiatives that NJBIA is advocating to help strengthen the State’s private-sector economy.  Topics include Taxation, Education & Employee Training, Economic Development, Energy, Environment, Healthcare and Legal.

2008-2009 LEGISLATIVE PRIORITIES
The 2008-2009 Legislative Priorities contains the top pieces of legislation that NJBIA is tracking in the current session of the State Legislature.  A bill is a priority when it has a substantial positive or negative impact on New Jersey businesses.  The list of bills is divided by the key issue areas covered by our seven policy experts and it is updated monthly,

Our Legislative Briefs describe in detail many of the most important bills we are following in the current session of the Legislature. (Not available for download, but NJBIA members can order free of charge at the website.)

FAST FACTS
Once a new law has been enacted that will have a significant impact on business, we write a Fast Facts brief to provide detailed information and timely updates on rules issued by State agencies. They also help your company take advantage of State programs intended to help business, like low-interest loans and economic development incentives.
